One family, three generations of it, spans 60 years of attending Rutgers—the perfect personification of what it means to be scarlet forever. Donald E. Seccia graduated from Rutgers College with a journalism degree in 1956. His twin daughters attended Rutgers, too. Sue Ann Seccia-Harnden graduated from Rutgers College with a communication degree in 1986. Noreen M. (Seccia) Sinko graduated from the Rutgers College of Pharmacy (today’s Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy) with a B.S. degree in pharmacy in 1986. Noreen is married to Patrick J. Sinko, who graduated from the College of Pharmacy with a B.S. degree in pharmacy in 1982. He is an associate vice president in the Office of Research and Economic Development at Rutgers and a Distinguished Professor of Pharmaceutics and Parke-Davis Endowed Chair of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy.  The Sinkos’ daughter, Kathryn M. Sinko, graduated from the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences with a B.S. degree, majoring in biochemistry and animal science, in 2016. Patrick Sinko also has two brothers and a sister-in-law who attended Rutgers. Christopher M. Sinko received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering in 1984, and Jeffrey S. Sinko received a B.S. degree in pharmacy in 1988—as did his wife, Lisa Davis Sinko.
