Letters Home
Upcoming exhibition will feature Rutgers veterans and their correspondence with loved ones while serving.

The Rutgers Office of Veteran and Military Programs and Services and the Writers House at Rutgers University–Camden are soliciting letters, emails, and audio and video recordings sent by veterans to their loved ones during their years of service. The correspondence will become part of Letters Home, an exhibit due to premiere universitywide in spring 2020. The emotional content of the letters, as well as the quotidian descriptions of military life, will, according to Leah Falk, coordinator of the Writers House, “create a greater sense of familiarity for those who have limited or no experience with veterans.” The deadline for submissions is January 20, 2020.
