What’s life like for you at Rutgers today? Let your photos do the talking. The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum wants to capture the spaces and places of your experience at the university during its 250th anniversary that weave a visual tapestry of academic and campus life in New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors can upload photographs at herenow250.rutgers.edu. The shots become part of HereNow: Rutgers 250, an exhibition through July 2016 in the Zimmerli’s main gallery. Later, the 250 most compelling photographs will be published in a fine arts book following the closing of the exhibition in the fall.

Be a part of the 250th anniversary celebration and post your Rutgers photographs, videos, and memories to Instagram, Twitter, or the Rutgers Facebook page, or all three. Maybe it’s a graduation photo. Or those fun shots of you and your friends as first-year students living in the dorms.

Just add the hashtag #Rutgers250 to your post, and we’ll find them and share them. (Mind you, we will not be able to view items in private accounts on social media.) If you are not on social media, submit your story using the short form available at 250.rutgers.edu/join-conversation.

Johnson & Johnson wants you to take part in its celebration of the university’s 250th anniversary. Donate a Photo invites you to take a photo on your mobile device and share it with Johnson & Johnson, which will give $1 for each shot that is posted for Rutgers students studying to become health care professionals.

The donations will support need-based scholarships: for every 1,000 photos donated, a Rutgers student will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
