R Big Ten Build, the fundraising campaign to support athletic and academic facilities for Scarlet Knights student-athletes, recently surpassed its goal of $100 million. Part of the money is paying for the construction of the Gary and  Barbara Rodkin Academic Success Center, adjacent to HighPoint.com Stadium. A groundbreaking ceremony for the $65 million facility was held on April 13 before the annual Scarlet-White spring football game. Gary RC’74 and Barbara DC’76 Rodkin made a $15 million gift in 2018, the largest in Rutgers athletics history, to help build the complex, due for completion in December 2020.
