Five Scarlet Knights athletics programs at Rutgers University–New Brunswick produced perfect scores in the Graduation Success Rate (GSR) report, which is the NCAA’s gauge of academic achievement for athletes competing at Division I institutions. Sixteen out of 20 teams earned marks above 80 percent, and Rutgers Athletics posted an overall score of 85, its ninth straight year of achieving a score of 84 or above. “Our responsibility is to provide every student-athlete who chooses Rutgers with the support they need to achieve their most important goal—earning a college degree,” says Patrick Hobbs, the director of Rutgers Athletics.
