As the Scarlet Knights women’s basketball season gets underway, the team will be looking to players like redshirt senior Stasha Carey (pictured) to have another strong year. Appearing in all 32 games last season, she was fifth in steals per game (1.9), 13th in blocked shots (1.1), 12th in offensive rebounds (2.5), and 16th in rebounds (6.8) while averaging 7.5 points. The Scarlet Knights went 20-12 overall (7-9, Big Ten) in 2017–18, a big improvement over the previous year’s mark of 6-24.
