Helped by new players, the Scarlet Knights women’s soccer team enters the playoffs.
Not a team to rest on its laurels after making impressive appearances in both the Big Ten and NCAA championship tournaments in 2017 (13-2-6, overall; 6-2-3, Big Ten), the Scarlet Knights women’s soccer team welcomed 10 new players this year. Senior Madison Pogarch, a two-time All-MAC (Mid-American Conference) backliner who transferred from Central Michigan University, is hoping to culminate her career by helping Rutgers go deep into the NCAA playoffs, which begin November 9.
