Picturing Camden, a Rutgers–Camden art show, views Camden through the eyes of contemporary artists.

Past Life, right, by Michael Bartmann, is featured in Picturing Camden, the exhibition running through December 8 at the Stedman Gallery, part of the Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts. The show, the final installation of a trilogy of exhibitions that has included Visions of Camden (2013) and Sounds of Camden (2014), views Camden through the eyes of six contemporary artists working in a range of media that celebrates the city’s colorful history and its encouraging future. Complementing the current exhibition is programming that explores the role of the arts in reimagining Camden and invites residents, schoolchildren, and community groups to create their own pictures of Camden.
